St. Leonards Angling Club Incorporated

Situated on the Bellarine Peninsula, the club started in 2003, and attracts both permanent residents and holiday makers alike.
We are an incorporated association, and hold various competitions, mainly on a monthly basis. We are a family based club,
and encourage junior, senior, male and female participation in all aspects of the club.
Rules for All new competitions - Entry Adults $5.00 Under 16 $2.00, free sausage sizzle for entrants
Prizes and trophies for winners in adult and junior sections - fish from boat, jetty, shore, etc
Fish from 6.00pm on Saturdays to close of weigh in at 2.00pm Sundays - Presentations at 2.15 pm - BBQ from 1.00pm
Weigh in starts at 10.00 am closes on time at 2.00pm
Open Bay - Only one fish per species to be weighed in - points for the heaviest in each species - 3 points per species weighed in (Snapper, gummy shark, flathead, whiting, garfish, squid, leatherjacket, aust salmon), plus 3 points for the heaviest in each individual individual species (where a tie exists - first weighed in takes precedence).
Nominated species Whiting and Flathead - bag of five fish only per competitor. heaviest bag first weighed in wins
1. Sun 11 March 2012 OPEN BAY @ Clifton Springs Boat ramp. fish from 6pm Sat night to close of weigh in at 2.00pm Sunday
2. Sun 15 April 2012 WHITING @ St Leonards Boat ramp. fish from 6pm Sat night to close of weigh in at 2.00pm Sunday
3. Sun 13 May 2012 FLATHEAD @ Clifton Springs Boat ramp. fish from 6pm Sat night to close of weigh in at 2.00pm Sunday

Vale Neil Tedesco of Adventure Bound
The committee and members of our club were stunned to hear of his passing, and offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to the crew from Adventure Bound. Our club met Neil last year when he presented a show for us at Drysdale, and everyone was impressed with his knowledge of fishing and his friendly and easygoing manner. A true gentleman who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
